Getting Acquainted With Bourbon
It's no secret that I enjoy the occasional adult beverage. I'm a grown human, it's what grown humans do. We unwind with a drink at the end of the day. And I have my preferences. I'm a rum and beer guy. Occasionally whiskey or gin. Don't care much for wine and vodka. Nothing wrong with those, just not my cup o' tea, as the saying goes. But there is a fairly large blindspot in my beverage vision and that's bourbon. Other than in a five dollar milkshake, of course.
But that's all about to change. Wine on Broadway is hosting a "Flavors of Fall Bourbon Tasting" event come Wednesday, October 4th. For just $15, I can go enjoy a few drinks from 7-8pm, expand my liquor palate, and learn the finer intricacies of bourbon from knowledgeable professionals. Seriously, if you've never been in to Wine on Broadway, they really know and love what they're talking about. So if you're trying to pick any kind of drink for any kind of occasion, just let them know, they're more than willing to help you out.
See you there!
