What Makes the Castor River Shut-Ins Unique?

Well, this is one place I can promise you I’ll never visit, because, you know, nature and all. But according to the travel experts at MSN, the Castor River Shut-Ins in Missouri are considered the hidden gem of the Show-Me State.

Located in Fredericktown, the Castor River Shut-Ins are Missouri’s only known pink granite shut-ins, formed an incredible 1.5 billion years ago.
