There’s one place where you can feel like a kid again and relive some of your favorite childhood memories, and it’s only a few hours away from the Tri-States.

Why Nostalgia Is Making Classic Toys Popular Again

Lately, it’s been fun walking down the toy aisle and seeing so many of the toys I played with during the 1980s and 1990s making a comeback. Cabbage Patch Kids, Rainbow Brite, He-Man and She-Ra, and even classic video games are finding their way back onto store shelves.

Then there are those toys you stumble across while cleaning out your parents’ attic—the ones they kept "just in case" and never got rid of.

If you want to experience all those nostalgic childhood feelings again, there’s one place that can make it happen: the World’s Largest Toy Museum in Branson.

A visit to the museum will take you back to your own childhood, and maybe even your parents’ childhood. The collection includes everything from Barbie dolls and cast-iron toys to Disney memorabilia and countless other treasures from generations past.

A Trip Down Memory Lane for the Whole Family

When my family and I visited the museum a few years ago, I was amazed not only by the incredible collection of toys but also by the flood of memories that came rushing back. It was a special experience to share those memories with my kids and show them some of the toys that were a big part of my childhood.
