Meet the Burger in Missouri Yelp Exerts say you Must Try
The experts at Yelp say this is the Burger in Missouri that you "have to sink your teeth into" and after looking up the burger, we can definitively say...we got to try this burger!
Yelp Elite put together a list called 50 States, 50 Cheeseburgers to Sink your Teeth into, and there were some no brainers like Au Cheval in Chicago for the burger in Illinois, but the burger they chose in Missouri is one I have never heard of before. The burger from Missouri that makes the list is from a place called Jack Nolen's in St. Louis. I have never heard of Jack Nolen's but on Yelp they say...
"Established in 2019...Brisket, short rib and chuck smash burgers with specialty shoe string fries, hand crafted cocktails and ice cold beer."
If you go to Jack Nolen's website you can find their menu, and on their menu they describe their Single Cheeseburger as...
"A single 4 oz. beef patty, smashed with American cheese (add lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeno and pickle on request)"
You can get it as a single, double, triple, or bunless. They also have a Patty Melt, a Chicken Sandwich, a Pesto Grilled Cheese, and the burger I want to try the most called The Firecracker Burger which is a cheeseburger with tomato, onion, jalapeno relish, pepper jack cheese, and Fire Ranch. Jack Nolen's is located in the Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis, just south of the ballpark and just north of Budweiser Brewery, and I have to say this place has immediately skyrocketed to the top of the list of places I want to try the next time I'm in St. Louis, have you ever been there?
