New ‘Sinful’ Survey Claims Illinois is a Devilishly Evil State
Greed, jealousy, anger & hatred, and lust all contribute to Illinois becoming one of the Most Sinful states in the nation. But are we really surprised?

I know Chicago is NOT ALL OF Illinois, but recently it was released that the city is more violent than ever, even surpassing the Al Capone era of crime. So it's not surprising that a recent survey just named Illinois one of the top ten sinful states in the nation right now ranking it at number eight.
So how sinful is Illinois? According to Wallethub, the state ranks overall with a 50.38 rating. Illinois comes in at number 7 with anger & hatred, number eleven for jealousy, number 27 for excesses & vices, 36 for greed, and 24 for lust.
In order to determine the states that most give in to their desires, WalletHub compared the 50 states across 47 key indicators of immoral or illicit behavior. Our data set ranges from violent crimes per capita to excessive drinking to the share of the population with gambling disorders.

Which states came before Illinois? Nevada takes the top stop (no surprise there) followed by California, Louisana, Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, Tennessee, and Illinois. The least sinful state...Wyoming. Well of course it is who lives in Wyoming? No matter what you think of Illinois its history proves that it will forever be a sinful state and rank high on any list for being naughty, but you hope that will change with time.
