If you consider yourself a "car person", you're gonna love what some collectors found tucked away in an Iowa barn. It was a rare combination of 1969 Plymouth GTX and a 1971 Challenger R/T both collecting dust in a corner.

Auto Archeology is a must-follow on YouTube if you enjoy classic vehicles. Here's how they described their Iowa road trip recently:

This 1969 Plymouth GTX and 1971 Challenger R/T were protected in the barn. It had been stashed away by the previous owner over the years. The other cars were gone through and no money was recovered.

While they found many other classic vehicles, most were not salvageable and had seen too much weather and wear. These two legendary muscle cars were savable though.

If you check the price of grabbing a restored 1969 Plymouth GTX, you'll see most of them selling for well over $60,000. As far as that 1971 Challenger R/T, there's one going for around $295,000. How crazy cool is that?

A couple years ago, these same guys found a barn full of Mustangs and Chargers. It's enough to take your breath away.

You seriously need to follow the Auto Archeology YouTube channel if you love hot rods. They're always coming across cars hidden away from decades ago and bringing them back to life.
