An Illinois doorbell security camera captured a very sad moment when a firetruck clipped a dude's sweet ride.

According to the video description, this happened in Algonquin, Illinois. It happened after a firetruck was answering a call in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, their neighbor had parked his classic Firebird on the street and this happened.

I realize that this is a very "guy" thing to do, but my first concern was figuring out what kind of muscle car it was. Initially, I had it pegged as an 80's era Camaro. But, one YouTube comment caused me to go back and watch it again.
Richard Saunders - "just an old firebird no big deal. Needed to junk it a long time ago."

No big deal? Richard has obviously never had a classic Firebird or Trans Am. I had a 1982 Firebird in high school and it was the most fun car I've ever driven. (PRO TIP: flip the air filter upside down in an old 6-cyclinder Firebird and it will sound like an 8-cylinder Trans Am)

The whole sad "firetruck hits the Firebird" ordeal reminded me of the classic Jeff Spicoli scene in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. I CAN FIX IT!
