St. Louis Zoo Goes Wild for Lights For The Holiday Season
Just like Boo at the Zoo, the Wild Lights at the St. Louis Zoo is something you need to experience every year.
Wild Lights at the St. Louis Zoo will kick off on November 25 and run through December 30. From 5 pm to 8:30 pm see the St. Louis Zoo lit up with bright-shiny new light displays and themed areas. Such as the Meet Me in St. Louie zone. This has a 15-foot arch and firework-style lights in front of a St. Louis cityscape background. It sounds amazing. Plus, stop by the Holly Jolly Hangout, Wild Wonderland, and Cozy Cove.
There will be winter-themed treats throughout the zoo and for extra fun stop by the Penguin & Puffin Coast to see them all dressed up in their finest tuxes. I took the family to Boo at the Zoo and we had a blast I will have to experience Wild Lights this year too.
For those who want to go but have a sensitivity to lights, the zoo is planning sensory-friends nights on December 12 and 13. This will allow individuals with sensory sensitivities, like those on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorders. There will be quiet areas, sensory maps, and trained staff to help assist visitors.
Every inch of the zoo will be filled with lights, and I can't wait to visit. Tickets must be purchased to visit the Wild Lights Event and are on sale now. This just makes the magic of the holiday season even better and with a 15-foot arch and multiple displays throughout that park that you can walk through, I am sure it's a sight that must be seen this holiday.
