The travel website familydestinationguide.com released a list called the 15 Best Things to Do in Hannibal, Missouri. The list includes a bunch of great things to do in America's Hometown like Lover's Leap, Riverview Park, the Tom and Huck Statue, and many more, but the number one thing on their list is A Tour of the Rockcliffe Mansion. On the site they say...

"If you’re looking for a place to connect with history, look no further than the Rockcliffe mansion. With original furnishings from the 1900s, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Stay overnight and sleep in one of the historic bedrooms. You can dine the following day in the historic formal dining room, which will delight even young ones."

The Rockcliffe Mansion tour comes in at #1 followed by The Mark Twain Cave, the Mark Twain Boyhood Home, and in fourth Downtown Historic Hannibal.

So, did this travel site get it right? I say no, In my humble opinion, the best thing to do in Hannibal is walk up and down Historic Main Street eating, shopping, and drinking along the way. Number 2 would be the Cave, followed by the Riverboat tour at 3, the Boyhood Home at 4, and the Cave Hollow West Winery 5th on the list. That is just my personal rankings, what is yours?
