What I wouldn’t give for a restaurant to offer a slice of pizza and a drink for just $6. Sounds cheap, right? Well, according to a new list, there’s a place in Illinois where you can grab a pizza, but it’s going to cost you.

Illinois' Most Expensive Pizza

The age-old debate over who has the best pizza — New York or Chicago — will probably never end. But when it comes to price, it looks like New York takes the crown. A large cheese pizza in NYC will set you back around $26. In Illinois, though, you’ll end up spending a little less.

It costs about 2.92% of a Chicagoan’s salary to buy two large pizzas. For that price, it should be one of the best pies you’ll ever find.

According to Cheapism, the most expensive city for pizza isn’t New York or Chicago, it’s Las Vegas! On average, you’ll pay over $26 for just a single slice, not even a whole pie.

YIKES!

With food prices continuing to rise, my days of wanting a slice of pizza and a drink for $6 may be a dream, but you never know wsomeone out that might be able to make it happen, and at some point all of us can enjoy a delicious lunch for not a ton of money.
