An investigation leads to the arrest of a Monroe County man Wednesday on drug and solicitation charges.

Hannibal Police learned that 38 year old Brandon Blue of Holliday, Missouri, was allegedly seeking sexual activity in exchange for drugs and money.

An investigation by a detective assigned to HPD’s Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad led to Blue’s arrest in the 1200 block of Broadway.

A search of his vehicle revealed a substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Warrants were issued by the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County, charging Blue with patronizing prostitution, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Blue is in the Marion County Jail on $50,000 bond.

The Hannibal Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
