Warrants were issued over the weekend against a Hannibal man in connection with theft from an ATM.

Hannibal Police responded to a report of the theft of an ATM in the 100 block of Lindsey Drive on December 31.

Officers found the ATM, with extensive damage and a large sum of money missing.

An investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of Head Lane.

The search uncovered a large amount of cash and tools that police believe were stolen December 21 from a business in the 4300 block of Paris Gravel Road.

40 year old Jon Otten was arrested and charged Saturday with receiving stolen property and lodged in the Marion County Jail on $25,000 bond.

At the time of his arrest, Otten was out on bond in connection with an incident last June which also involved a damaged ATM at that same Lindsey Drive location.

The investigation into the incident continues and more charges could be filed later.
