Known for a place to have a good time and a destination for lake fun the Lake of the Ozarks can also be a dangerous place. Known for drawings through the years it has become a place for fun and sadly a place where people have lost their lives.

So, it makes sense why Love Exploring ranked it among some of the most dangerous destinations in America. They say, (Lake of the Ozarks) is considered one of America’s most dangerous lakes, largely due to its unusual serpentine shape, with numerous small inlets shooting off the main body of water.

I am not a boater, but there seem to be several blind spots and collisions at intersections that are frequent on the lake and the cause of many close calls. I'm sure this will not discourage people from visiting the lake, but it's a bit of a warning to be careful when on the lake, and the most important (like driving) watch out for others.
