Is Hannibal Getting a Tesla “Supercharging” Station?

Electric cars need places to charge, and it appears as though a Hannibal gas station is adding an electric charging station

So I got a call today from one of my coworkers saying "Hey did you see the Casey's on McMasters avenue in Hannibal is getting an electric car charging station" and I told him that I had no idea if that was true or not. Well after some digging around on Facebook, I found a post on the Facebook group "Things Happening in Hannibal" about what was going on at the Casey's on McMasters in Hannibal.

In the post (to see it click here) a group member attaches a link to the Tesla website explaining what a "Supercharging" station is, and I called my Hannibal coworker back to confirm there is an electric charging station being added to that Casey's, and my coworker confirmed that to be true.

So according to the Tesla website this "Supercharging" station that is being added to the Casey's will..

"Supercharging is simple and convenient—just plug in and charge up...Most Supercharger stalls are reserved for Tesla charging but some stalls allow general parking. "

So from all accounts it appears as though if you live and work around Hannibal now might be a good time to invest in a Tesla if you have always wanted one! Obviously you could charge your Tesla at your own home, but having a place intown to "Fill Up" like a normal gas powered car will be a huge bonus for those electric car owners. Would you ever buy an electric car?
