Many think that Millennials are the most nostalgic generation. They cherish their childhood. I even thought my millennial child was a born hoarder, but looking back on it maybe he was just nostalgic for something right after it happened…(???)

Cowabunga Pizza Pies has been open for a few weeks but stands on the almost four decade principle of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles having a preference for pizza, dude. There are also old tube tv’s with vintage Nintendo game consoles.

Part of the fun of nostalgia is sharing it with the next generation. With games and pizza and TMNT action figures all around what is a millennial dad with young kids in tow not to love? All the pies are named after characters from the show.

Owner Shawn Rogers is focused on the kids as there is an elementary school across the street. Stating that this summer if kids can present a book report to the staff, they’ll get a free slice and a beverage. With a limit on one book report per week. That's a fantastic topping!
