Missouri Ranks Among the Top States for Pet Ownership

Missouri is one of the states with the highest rates of pet ownership in the nation, according to a new report. When someone decides to welcome a pet into their family, one of the hardest decisions is choosing a name.

World Population Review ranks Missouri among the top 15 states with the most pet owners. As a pet owner myself, I know that having a pet comes with plenty of responsibility, but it also comes with some pretty great cuddle benefits.

After a long day at work, I know that when I open my door, two furry friends are waiting to greet me. I'm sure part of their excitement has something to do with wanting food, but I like to think they actually missed me.

What Are the Most Popular Dog Names in 2026?

One of the fun parts of getting a new pet is choosing the perfect name. According to a list from USNews ranked the top 10 pet names so far in 2026 include Max, Luna, and Bella, with Bella taking the No. 1 spot, Luna at No. 2, and Max at No. 3. Followed by:
