WalletHub just released its list of 2023's Best & Worst Places to Start a Career, and St. Louis, Missouri was named the 15th best place in the country, and the highest-ranking city in Missouri on the list. On the site WalletHub says...

"In order to help new graduates start their search for a career, WalletHub compared the relative market strength and overall livability of more than 180 U.S. cities to help recent college graduates find the best cradles for their budding careers. We examined each city based on 26 key metrics that range from the availability of entry-level jobs to monthly average starting salary to housing affordability."

St. Louis ranks 9th overall in the Professional Opportunites ranking but does finish a poor 57th in the Quality of Life ranking. Overall, St. Louis compares really favorably to its Midwestern rivals, Chicago is ranked 117th on this list, Kansas City is ranked 56th, Des Moines is 41st, and even Indianapolis is 81st. The best places to start a career according to WalletHub are Atlanta, Orlando, Salt Lake City, Columbia (South Carolina), and Tampa, to see the complete list for yourself click here!

I honestly think St. Louis should be higher on this list because the is no way the quality of life in St. Louis should be ranked as low as 59th when the quality of life ranking for a city like Minneapolis is THIRD...I'd much rather live in St. Louis than in Minneapolis.
