Hannibal BPW Crews to Start Martin Street Paving Friday

The beginning of the end of Hannibal’s Martin Street repair project begins Friday.

Officials with the Hannibal Board of Public Works report the final phase of the Martin Street Stormwater and Water Repairs Project will begin during the daylight hours Friday.

The last phase of the project consists of road repairs, beginning with road paving.

The previous phases, including replacement of the underground storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water mains were completed over the winter.

Martin Street will be closed to all vehicle traffic beginning Friday. If you live in the area, you’re asked to avoid parking on Martin Street until construction is complete.
