Missouri’s Charming Free Wedding Venue
Getting married is an expensive proposition. You have to secure a venue for the ceremony and the reception. You have to make sure you have all the boxes checked for food, music, photography and all the personal details to handle, flowers, dresses, officiant etc. It all adds up. What if there were a wedding venue that didn’t charge you for using it?
The Brim Chapel - North of Kansas City
Behold The Brim! Located just north of Kansas City near the airport on 16 acres of space that is in the process of becoming perhaps a perfect location for weddings, pics and receptions. In a short time, this start-up venue has garnered many accolades.

The owners of The Brim, Aaron and Kelsie believe that marriage matters, and also that step one for new couples should not be to go into debt just to get married and celebrate it. Thus, knowing that weddings are expensive, they offer free use of their chapel during Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday mornings. They also offer up their facilities during the more traditional Saturday wedding time window for a fee.
Leveling up they do also provide optional reception space and adjacent services too, and are in the process of creating additional amenities and wedding opportunities on the grounds. They began this venture right as COVID-19 was kicking off and haven’t just survived, they have thrived. It turns out that wanting to help couples as job one is a business model that works.
