Check Your Nuts! Cashew Recall Issued

We've all been there. You need a snack in the afternoon, and nuts are high in protein, so they're filling, healthy, and a great source of energy. But where you thought you'd be getting cashewey goodness, you instead come away with nothing but a mouth full of glass! That's the subject of a new recall affecting tins of cashews sold in Aldi stores throughout the Tri-States area.

Star Snacks Co. has issued a voluntary recall of their eight ounce cans of Southern Grove Cashew Halves and Pieces with Sea Salt after several reports came in of people finding glass in the tins. The recalled product was sold in stores in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa and 25 other states.
