The Katy Trail at the Katy Trail State Park makes the list for having not only the best romantic spot but also the best sunsets in the entire Show-Me State. If you can make it to the top of the 36-5 mile point (the highest point on the trail) you will have the best view for the big moment.

Another amazing spot is the 1000th Mile Trail, located in Harry S. Truman State Park. The best place to propose is at the bottom of the glade—it looks like something straight out of a fantasy novel.

The West Ridge Trail in Weston Bend State Park also makes the list. While the trail can be a bit challenging, the breathtaking views make it well worth the effort.

Spring brings beauty to the River Bluffs Loop in River Bluffs Park, but the true spectacle is in the fall. The landscape is a sight you have to see for yourself, which is why so many proposals take place there during the season.
