Are the Kansas City Chiefs the “Best Team” in all of Sports?
The biggest awards show for athletes is coming on up and the Kansas City Chiefs were nominated for the Best Team award, their competition is TOUGH, so are they the best team in all of sports?
ESPN the Worldwide Leader in Sports hosts an award show each year and the nominees have been announced. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actual award show will be Wednesday, July 12th and on their site they say...
"Winners of the ESPY Awards are voted on by fans, who can make their picks at ESPN.com/ESPYS through July 9. The ceremony will air live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/PT on July 12 from Los Angeles."
At the Oscars, the biggest award always is the "Best Picture" award, the award that celebrates the best movie of the year, at the ESPYs, the award that is most like best picture is Best Team and the Chiefs are nominated this year.
The nominees for Best Team are the Denver Nuggets, Georgia Bulldogs (College Football), Kansas City Chiefs, LSU Girls Basketball, Las Vegas Aces (WNBA), Oklahoma Sooners (College Softball), and the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
If those are the nominees, I believe the Chiefs should win. They came out of the extremely-tough AFC this year in the NFL and took down a terrific Eagles team in a great Super Bowl game. The Nuggets I would put in second place, followed by the LSU Girls' basketball team.
I also believe that Patrick Mahomes should win Best NFL Player, but I think Best Male Athlete should go to Messi for winning a World Cup or Jokic because of how dominant he was during the Nuggets championship run. To vote, click here!
