I have been living in Quincy for almost 3 years now, and even though the majority of the time I have lived here we have been experiencing a pandemic that has hurt the restaurant industry hard, I have been to almost every single restaurant in the Gem City. We are lucky to have incredible specialty restaurants like Tiramisu for Italian, Seoul2Soul for Korean, Thai D'Lish for Thai, El Rancherito for Mexican, Riverside and Fatbacks for BBQ, and so many others. But getting the whole family to agree on where to eat can be hard, but there are three restaurants I know of in Quincy that have such giant and diverse menus that if you go there you will find something for everyone, here are my three.

Mr. Bills - To see their menu click here! It is loaded with everything from burgers, prime rib, salads, wraps, fried chicken, salmon, steak, and even burritos! Mr. Bills is a dive bar (with great beers on tap, and cocktails) but with a mega menu, my personal favorites include the Big Dog a jumbo hotdog, and their famous fried chicken. Also, it is super affordable!

The Abbey - To see their menu click here! Every time I go to The Abbey I am reminded how incredibly diverse their menu is, the appetizers are phenomenal with nachos, giant mozzarella sticks, and the blooming onion, great soups, tasty large salads, Italian dishes, they have salmon, shrimp, chicken, steak, pork, you name it they have it, huge burgers and sandwiches, plus their bar is one of the best in town. Some of my personal favorites are the Tenderloin, the Illini Fillet, and the Cobb salad with the blackened chicken.

Sprouts Inn - To see their menu click here! Now they only serve breakfast at limited times but they have incredible breakfast choices and it is delicious! But their lunch and dinner menus are massive, I call it elevated diner food, from southwest eggrolls, BLTs. beef potatoes and gravy, chicken parmesan, ribeye steaks, plus a bunch of seafood, pasta, and dessert options as well. My favorites include the pick 3 deal, the lemon pie, and the patty melt.

If you are struggling to find a place to eat where the whole family can find something delicious and affordable that will satisfy their tastebuds check out these three legendary Quincy restaurants.
