Your Ultimate Guide to Quincy’s Dogwood Weekend Festivities
It’s going to be a jam-packed weekend in Quincy, and here’s everything you need to know to enjoy it.
Dogwood Weekend in Quincy
One of my favorite weekends of the year is coming up on May 3rd, Dogwood Weekend! It all kicks off with the massive parade at 9:30 a.m., running right down Maine Street in Quincy. After enjoying 125 floats and bags full of candy, many events will continue throughout the day.
Lorenzo Bull House Dogwood Party
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., a Dogwood party will take place on the front lawn of the Lorenzo Bull House, and it's free to attend! There will be rides, food trucks, activities hosted by the Quincy Museum for the kids, other children’s activities, and much more.
Downtown Art Walk
Get your walking shoes on and head downtown for the Downtown Art Walk, hosted by the Quincy Art Center. Grab your wristbands now online or on Saturday at the Washington Theater or the First Mid Bank Plaza. Nineteen businesses downtown are helping to host the event, which showcases local art from throughout the Tri-States.
Don't head home after the parade, there's so much more to enjoy. Hopefully, Mother Nature will be kind and bless the Tri-States with a beautiful spring day.
