Which Missouri Town Made the USA Top 10 Fall Destinations List?
You may have visited this Missouri town. You may have visited it many times. But have you been there during the fall? During peak leaves?
USA Today put together a list of the best fall destinations in the United States and one Missouri town made the list.
Along with Louden County, VA., Saratoga County, NY., Estes Park, CO., Allegany County, MD., Mackinac Island, MI. Lafayette, LA., Cody, WY., Columbus, OH. and Gatlinburg, TN. Branson Missouri (!!!) made the top ten list this year for national fall destinations.
There are plenty of things to do in Branson. It’s definitely a place many visit, but in the autumn things take on an extra special vibe. Peak leaves in the fall is peak Branson.
You may not have thought of Branson as that fall “must see” in Missouri. You may have another spot you love to stop at during fall in the Show-Me State. Hermann, MO. checks a lot of boxes in the fall. But don’t miss out on fall in Branson.
There are a couple schools of thought when it comes to deciding on destinations. 1. See something “exotic” (exotic in this case being something you rarely get to see). 2. Make sure you don’t miss a gem that may be in the region. This perspective focuses on places that aren’t necessarily far away but could provide a magical getaway, if you can get out of your own way in discounting the relatively close for the deceptive extra weight of the distant.
If others around the country are penning it in as a place to experience this time of year perhaps you should give it a try.
