What Would You Do With A $1,000 TIcketmaster Gift Card?
Def Leppard, Styx, and Tesla are coming to the First Midwest Bank Amphitheater in suburban Chicago over Labor Day weekend.
Thanks to age (and lack of fitness), I cannot do lawn seats. Never liked them anyway (Boston at Alpine Valley in 1987 was a mud-fest). So if I am going to see a concert, I am getting the good seats. That means either getting them from someone for free (unlikely), or shelling out a ton of cash.
The show I mentioned earlier would be an event where I might have shelled out a ton of cash 20 years ago. Today...well, lets just say I would see the show if I "obtained" tickets from someone or somewhere.
Just for fun, I researched how much it would cost to see this show. I can get a couple of front row seats at $545 each. Or, there are a couple of 2nd row tickets available (center section) for $894 each.
Ouch.
I guess I'm not seeing Def Leppard this year...but you could, if you wanted to! KICK-FM is giving you a chance to win a $1,000 Ticketmaster Gift Card. "The $1,000 Ticket Takedown", presented by Arch City Vapors, is your chance to win a $1,000 Ticketmaster Gift Card. You could use it to purchase tickets to your favorite sports team (Wrigley Field Bleachers, anyone?), or concerts anywhere in the nation.
Follow this link to register for your chance to win before Friday June 12.
So...what tickets would you buy with a $1,000 Ticketmaster Gift Card if you won?
