Three Pike County Communities Rank as Safest Cities in Illinois

It sure is nice to see some good news. Pike County, Illinois -  home of the Pike County Fall Color Drive, the Western Illinois Fair, and world-famous deer hunting - has ranked three cities among the Top 10 Safest Cities in Illinois, according to Movoto.  A Schuyler County community also made the list. 

Not only did the towns in our area do exceptionally well, but they're all in the Top 5! Griggsville was named the safest city in the state, followed by Browning, Pittsfield, and then Pleasant Hill.

Congratulations to the residents, businesses and city leaders of each of these communities, and thanks for making our region look so good!
