According to NBC Chicago, the largest waterpark in Illinois is going to be opening its doors to visitors for the 2023 season in June. In the article they say...

"Yorkville's Raging Waves announced it plans to open for the 2023 season on June 3. The waterpark, located at 4000 N. Bridge St., will celebrate its 16th year in business. Described as the largest waterpark in Illinois, Raging Waves sits on 58 acres replete with 32 waterslides, a lazy river, a wave pool and more for guests to explore, according to its website. It also features a six-lane mat racing water slide called the Aussie Mat Dash, one of just three in the world and the first in Illinois."

If you don't know where Yorkville is, it is located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago near Aurora.

To experience the largest waterpark in Illinois it will cost you, according to the article they say single-day tickets are $55 and you can rent a cabana for $200... YIKES... I will say that over $200 for a family of four to go to a waterpark is STEEP. I get that it is the biggest and best waterpark in the state but who can afford a day out like that? Especially when you factor in parking, gas, food, drinks, and everything that comes with a day out with your family.
