The lights for the 2013 edition of the Avenue of Lights will be turned off for this holiday season tomorrow night. The Avenue of Lights is located in the Wavering/Moorman Park complex with more than 350 separate pieces and over 15 miles of lights illuminated. The lighted display will be open tonight and tomorrow night (New Years Day) from 6 to 9:30pm at the parks located on North 36th Street in Quincy.

As you wind your way through the park you’ll see amazing displays of lights set in fun, visually stunning arrangements. The Quincy Chamber of Commerce handles the Avenue of Lights and everyone who works at the Avenue of Lights is a volunteer, and all the displays were donated by local businesses and organizations, and from entrance fees.

Admission is just $9 per vehicle. Unfortunately, vans over 15 passengers are not allowed, to avoid damage to the park’s roads. All proceeds each evening will go toward a non-profit organization.
