The clinic is open from ages 7 to 13 and is an opportunity to learn a few baseball fundamentals from former Cardinals players and coaches. The clinics will run from June 9 through July 21 with a stop in Quincy on Thursday, July 21 at Moorman Park from 12:30 to 5 pm.

There is no word on which former players and coaches will be coming to Quincy, but this still would be a really awesome opportunity for upcoming baseball players to learn from the best of the best. If you have a baseball-loving kid, this might be one of the best clinics to have them be involved in. I know if my girls were into baseball I might sign them up for it.

There will be small group instructions on pitching, hitting,m base-running, and other baseball fundamentals, and the best part is every instruction is a former Cardinals player or coach. Plus, Cardinals pitcher Dakota Hudson and World Series MVPs David Freese and David Eckstein are scheduled to appear at select clinic locations (subject to change).

All participants will receive a goodie bag which includes a Cardinals t-shirt, two tickets to a future Cardinals game, as well as pre-signed baseball cards from the instructors, and prize drawings for great Cardinals items. The cost for the camp is $95 per child and you can register now at cardinals.com/clinics.
