Holiday Lights Return to Quincy’s Wavering & Moorman Parks

Wavering and Moorman Parks will light up for the holiday season.
Quincy Park Board members unanimously approve a proposal from Festival of Lights Incorporated to use the park for a light display in late November and December. Plans are for a similar display to the Avenue of Lights which ended four years ago following a 15 year run. Festival of Lights Incorporated is a newly created non-profit. Revenue generated will pay for equipment and upgrades. Work on setting up the display is to begin in mid October. Plans are to have the display ready by Thanksgiving.
