Las Vegas, Nevada is Sin City USA, and of course, it is the most sinful city in the country. But what city takes the number 2 spot? New York City, Nashville, New Orleans? No, the answer to that question is a city in the Show-Me State of Missouri.

WalletHub.com has released its list of 2022's Most Sinful Cities in America, and surprise, St. Louis is the second most sinful city in the US behind only Las Vegas. St. Louis finished just ahead of Philadelphia in 3rd, followed by Houston, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Baton Rouge, and Pheonix to round out the top 10.

How do you determine that a city is sinful? On the site they say...

"In order to identify the darkest corners of America, WalletHub compared more than 180 U.S. cities across 38 key indicators of vices and illicit behavior. Our data set ranges from violent crimes per capita to excessive drinking to adult entertainment establishments per capita."

St. Louis ranks tied for 1st in Thefts per capita, 1st in the Anger & Hatred category, and first in the Excesses & Vices category.

Where do other Tri-State area cities rank on the list? Well, Chicago is 8th, Kansas City is 20th, Springfield (Missouri) is 62nd, and Des Moines is 128th. To see the complete list of the most sinful cities in the US this year just click here!

St. Louis really does deserve this spot if you look at the data that WalletHub provides. But I will say when you are in downtown St. Louis at a Cards game, walking around, nothing about the STL feels THAT sinful, do you agree?
