Congrats to Honey Butter Fried Chicken in Chicago for being named the 2nd best-fried chicken in the US by Food & Wine. The only restaurant with better fried chicken in the US according to the list is a place in Philadelphia called Federal Donuts. What about Honey Butter Fried Chicken makes it deserving of being put number two on this list? On the restaurant's Facebook page, they say...

"Honey Butter Fried Chicken is the crispy, juicy, flavorful fried chicken created, perfected and enjoyed by the chefs and patrons of Sunday Dinner Club – and always served with a ‘dollop of the namesake honey butter. We start with local fresh, hormone-free, antibiotic-free, and cage-free, locally-sourced chicken and brine it in a mixture of salt, sugar, spices and citrus. It is double battered in buttermilk and seasoned flour, expertly fried and sprinkled with smoked paprika salt for a final kick of flavor. Dip that chicken in salty, sweet honey butter for the ultimate fried chicken experience."
