The 2019 Blues in The District Lineup Has Been Announced

The lineup of performers has been announced by The District for this year’s Blues in The District presented by Blessing Health System. Kicking off the 22^nd season of Blues in The District at Washington Park will be Harper and Midwest Kind on Friday, June 14. Two weeks later, during Q-Fest weekend, Amanda Fish will come to Quincy to entertain the crowd.

The July concerts will feature Ivas John on July 12 and Mary Jo Curry on July 26. The free Blues concerts will wrap up in August with two more Blues event as the Brothers Jefferson Band will take to the gazebo stage on Friday, August 9 followed by Marquise Knox who will wrap up the season on Friday, August 23.

As usual, blues fans can bring their own lawn chairs, blankets, food and drink to these events, but food will be available for purchase as well at all concerts from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
