One of the more popular events in Quincy each summer is the "Blues in The District".  Some 20,000 people gathered to socialize and listen to some great blues music in Washington Park on 2019.  That seems like an eternity ago as last year's event was cancelled due to COVID-19.

The Blues in The District committee has announced the dates for this year's concerts pending no flare-ups of COVID-19 between now and then. There may be some measures taken at each concert to keep everyone safe pending how things are this summer. This year Blessing Health System will have interactive safety booths at all six concerts.

The concert dates are June 11 & 25, July 9 & 23 and August 13 & 27.  The committee is still finalizing the booking of blues artist for the summer. The Blues in The District concerts are free to attend thanks to sponsorships from the business community and citizens in the area.  You will need your lawn chair and are welcomed to bring food and beverage with you.  Food and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase each night.
