Something Missing From Hannibal Riverfront
Have you noticed something missing from the Hannibal Riverfront?
Each off-season, the Riverboat Mark Twain moves to an alternate location to be stored for the winter. The Warf Boat, which serves as the ticket booth, boarding area, and gift shop usually remains on the riverfront through the winter.
This year, the Warf Boat is getting some work done in another location. This is why the riverfront looks unusually empty.
According to Sandy Terry, the Riverboat Mark Twain will be back on the shoreline very soon. They expect to start Sightseeing Cruises April 1st. Those of you wanting to take a Sightseeing Cruise, the Riverboat Mark Twain will board at Glascock's Landing, right where Hill Street meets the river.
There will be no gift shop available, plus you will have to purchase your tickets as you board the Riverboat. The Warf Boat will be back to grace the riverfront in the next couple of weeks, according to Sandy Terry. Once the Warf Boat returns, boarding of the Riverboat will take place in its normal location.
