The Salvation Army will continue its annual Tree of Lights Christmas Campaign in Quincy and Hannibal until the end of January in order to meet goals.

The goal for Quincy is $390,000, while the goal for Hannibal is $90,000. So far $376,990 has been raised in Quincy and $83,699 raised in Hannibal. That leaves $13,010 to raise for Quincy and $6,301 for Hannibal.

Donations to The Salvation Army Christmas Campaign help provide food boxes, toys for children, delivery of gifts to nursing homes and shut-ins, and community meals. The funds are also needed to support year-round programs and services for those in need, such as emergency disaster assistance, emergency shelter and food assistance, rent and utility assistance, youth programs, summer camp and more.

With more than $19,000 to be raised between Hannibal and Quincy before the end of January, help is much needed to ensure The Salvation Army can provide the quality programs and services for the coming year as expected.

Donations, which are tax-deductible, may be made by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard or debit card by calling or stopping by The Salvation Army located in the Kroc Center at 405 Vermont Street in Quincy.
