I've seen drivers texting and driving, talking on the phone, speeding in school zones, and tailgating to name a few of the things I see daily. So when a ranking came out by Quote Wizard with the Best and Worst Cities in Illinois for driving I was not surprised that Quincy made the worst list. Ranked at #24 out of 25 Quincy makes a list along with Naperville (#18), Rock Island (#8), Crystal Lake (#3), and Park Ridge (#1).

Which Cities are the Best to Drive in Illinois?

With the bad comes the good. Not all cities are not bad to drive in. Arlington Heights (#3), Des Plaines (#2), and Evanston (#1) take the top three spots on the list

QuoteWizard found out these results by using data from insurance companies and the number of claims that were made in previous years.

The QuoteWizard research team evaluated driver quality from the 50 largest cities in Illinois by population. We analyzed 2018 data of over 120,000 insurance quotes from Illinois drivers using QuoteWizard to find the rate of overall incidents in each city. Incidents include accidents, speeding tickets, DUIs, and citations.

Just a reminder to be safe out there and don't become distracted.
