Philly Fans Troll Chiefs Fans in Missouri with Billboard
As the minutes tick down to kickoff for Super Bowl LIX, there are only a couple things left to do. One of them apparently is to troll your opponent’s fan base..???
A Philadelphia ad agency achieved the troll by purchasing ad space on a billboard along one of the busiest roads in Kansas City (if not all Missouri) I-435N near the I-70 exchange right by Arrowhead stadium.
How is that trolling? With the city buzzing with Super Bowl fever as the Chiefs try and make NFL history by winning three Super Bowls in a row, the red billboard says “Call for a rally in your pocket” with a local phone number displayed that ends in -GO KC. Single minded fans sensed this was about the Chiefs, and it was…kind of.

If you dialed that number, you heard a recording of the Eagles touchdown song “Fly Eagles Fly” play. That’s the troll part. Tens of thousands of fans have dialed that number thinking they’d get a rally in their pocket…??? And instead got an ear full of Eagles love.
Worse? You can’t even really get mad at the people responsible because they attached the calls to charity donations for both teams. The agency gave $2500 to the Eagles Autism Foundation, and another $2500 to the Hunt Family Foundation.
Well played Philadelphia.
