There is a percentage of society that LOVES peeps, not just at Easter but any time of the year. But especially at Easter. In Illinois though there are Peeps contests that have absolutely nothing to do with eating them.

Peeps dioramas have been a thing for over 20 years now, beginning in 2004 in Minnesota. The concept spread quickly and is still utilized in Illinois in several places, including:

The Mokena Public Library – which has a Peeps Diorama contest for kids between kindergarten and 8th grade. Will accept entries through April 12, with entries on display starting April 21st – 26th. Winners announced at that time.
