Multiple Chances to Trick-or-Treat!

Halloween is next week! But there are more opportunities to trick-or-treat then just Oct. 31st!

Obviously the best night for trick-or-treating is Halloween night, you get all of your friends together, get dressed up and in true Midwest fashion you then put a jacket on over your costume. But if you have a couple costumes you want to show off this year, or maybe you just want to capitalize on as much free candy as humanly possible, here are some other trick-or-treating options.

- QJHS 2019 Haunted Halls: The Quincy Junior High School is hosting Haunted Halls on Friday Oct. 25th from 6 pm to 8 pm. This event is for the local families and elementary school kids, the events Facebook Page says quote "The second-floor corridor will be decorated with “treat stops” along the path, and additional activities will be offered in the cafeteria. Admission to Haunted Halls is 1 canned good per person or $3 per family. Donations will benefit the Fall Harvest Food Drive. Snacks will be available for sale in the cafeteria. Proceeds from snack sales benefit Quincy Jr. High School's PBIS Comets Care Team."

-Trick or Treat in The District: The District in Quincy is hosting a trick-or-treating event on Saturday Oct. 26th from 10 am to 2 pm. There are tons of places to stop by in The District to trick-or-treat during the day Saturday, but make sure you start your day at the corner of Maine and 7th at the First-Mid Bank & Trust Plaza to pick up a map of all the participating businesses and where they are located! And make sure you stop by the Quincy Farmers market where Quincy Medical Group is giving out mini pumpkins to the trick-or-treaters.
