Black Magic Margarita - Mix up 2 ounces of tequila, an ounce of orange liqueur, an ounce of lime juice, a half ounce of agave nectar and black raspberry liqueur with black salt for the rim, and a lime wheel for garnish. You can achieve the dark color with food coloring (but why?), or to get a truer black use activated charcoal to achieve the deep dark color.

Witch’s Brew Punch – Blend one and a half ounces of Midori, one and a half ounces of Cointreau/Triple-Sec, 1 ounce of lemon juice. Garnish with cocktail cherry-- and should you want to level up, include dry ice for smoky effect.

The Bloody Negroni -  Pour three quarters of an ounce of gin, with three quarters of an ounce of Italian red bitter liqueur, and three quarters of an ounce of vermouth, with three quarters of an ounce of blood orange juice. Serve in a chilled, ice-filled “old fashioned” glass and garnish with blood-orange slice. This version swaps out Campari for the Italian red bitter and a regular orange for a blood orange.

Put on your kitchen lab coat and mix up a special Halloween cocktail for your group party, or just for yourself. These are kind of like a libation version of a Halloween costume. Familiar, yet more foreboding. Sometimes the treat doesn’t need to be tricky.

What Are the Signature Drinks From Every State?

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
