I wish I could buy a vacation home to use whenever we want and rent out as an Airbnb, but sadly I can not, However, if you are looking for a fun place to buy a vacation home you might be to look at Branson, Missouri. Realtor.com put Branson as the number one place to buy an affordable vacation home.

It’s consistently ranked high on our annual Most Affordable Lake Towns list, because of the many different types of properties and price ranges available.

Brandon is a family-friends vacation hot spot and is growing every year. There is really something for everyone, from live shows to rides, and a new aquarium Branson is a really fun place to visit. We loved our time there when we visited a few years back and looking forward to going back soon. Now the homes for sale in Branson are like any other place they range in price, depending on what you are willing to spend you could get a really nice vacation home.

Yes, there are $1 million homes, and $500,000 homes but the more inland you go the more affordable they become. You don't get the lakefront views, but hey at least you will have something. The average second home price in Branson is $299,000.
