The Show-Me State has had a history of soda pop being made in state. 7Up was invented in St. Louis. Vess soda and Whistle orange are also from St. Louis. Back in the 90s, West End Soda Brew from St. Louis was a beverage way ahead of its time. And Fitz’s in St. Louis is far more than root beer. These days Polly’s Pop in Independence is carrying the Missouri soda flag forward on the west side of the state. Make way, though. There’s a new Missouri soda to seek out, with a different twist.

Yes Honey sodas out of southwest Missouri are a new player on the shelves. Yes Honey sodas are made with honey as the sweetener. This is a plus for those with seasonal, pollen or red meat allergy like AGS. The honey and other ingredients used are from the Midwest, and the beverages are manufactured in Bolivar, Missouri.

No corn syrup, no artificial sweeteners, and no cane sugar. Yes Honey also offers Creamed Honey Drizzlers. Those are flavored honey toppings. Garlic, Lemon, Apple Cinnamon, Peach Habanero, Raspberry Jalapeno, and Chocolate Honey complete the drizzle offerings.

The current beverage line-up includes: Strawberry, Watermelon, and Sweet Apple sodas, along with Berry and Peach Green Tea. These sweet drinks and the drizzlers are on shelves at locations in and around Springfield, Mo., and online too. Yes Honey’s goal is to keep expanding beyond southwest Missouri, the Show-Me State, and beyond the Midwest.
