Local Pharmacy Set To Close in 2019

Shopko Pharmacy announced today that they will be closing their doors sometime in 2019.

According to WGEM, the store will close sometime early January, but no date has been set yet. The closure is company-wide, and the Quincy store is among several Shopko pharmacies that will be closing in 2019.

Shopko will remain open and there are no signs of the retail store closing. If you use the pharmacy in Shopko, I would go there and find out what needs to be done in order for you to find a new pharmacy. Hy-Vee pharmacy will be receiving patient files and filling prescriptions in early January. As soon as an official date is announced for the closure we will let you know.
