Two big commercial buildings in Quincy will soon be filled once again, but what would you like to come to Quincy?

Broadway Street in Quincy, IL is a perfect example of "Visual Pollution" and it is my opinion that this visual pollution is one of the main reasons why business is slow to grow along the busiest street in the whole of the Tri-States.

The Tri-States has some great restaurants and businesses, but over the years we've lost some great ones that we would love to get back.

Here we go again, another business set to close this Sunday, and another empty lot will sit. Shopko will close their doors for good on June 23, and there is not much left. I have taken advantage of the closeout sales that have been going on the last few weeks, but I am sad to see another business close, and another lot sit empty...

Shopko and its subsidiaries have filed for bankruptcy, citing “excess dept and ongoing competitive pressures” as the reason according to the Herald-Whig.

Looks like Quincy will soon be losing another big store.

Shopko Pharmacy announced today that they will be closing their doors sometime in 2019.

The Shopko store in Palmyra will be closing in early 2018.
