2 Missouri Cities Make Nations List of Most Dangerous to Visit

Visiting other cities whether it be for vacation or just a weekend can be exciting and fun to plan. A new list, however, puts two Missouri cities on a Most Dangerous List to visit for 2024.

The experts at Love Exploring listed the top 15 cities in America that are dangerous to visit, and with no surprise, both St. Louyis and Kansas City made the list. According to them, Kansas City (ranked 10th) may be good for jazz, BBQ, and sports but the violent crimes in the city continue to rise.

Violent crimes are at 1,481 per 100,000 people, while property is at 4,715 per 100,000 people.

Look, I visit Kansas City all the time and yes there are places and spots in the city you don't go to, but for the most part, I never feel unsafe when I am out and about. Again, you just need to know where to not go and you will be fine.

The other city making the list is St. Louis (ranked 2nd). The Arch, the St. Louis Zoo, the City Museum, and the parks there is so much to do in St. Louis, but much like Kansas City, St. Louis' crime rate is also high.

 There's 1,472 violent crimes per 100,000 people, and also a high number of property crimes (7,254 per 100,000 people).

I love both of these cities and I will not stop visiting them often. Just be careful, know where to go and I promise you will be completely safe.
