The first entertainment announcement for this summer's National Tom Sawyer Days has been made! Country music's Josh Thompson will appear July 3 at Tanyard Gardens and area favorites Madd Hoss Jackson will open the show!

Tickets are now available online, and paper tickets are on sale at County Market stores in Hannibal, Quincy and Palmyra. General admission tickets are $15 in advance and will be $20 the day of the show. VIP tickets to the show are sold out.

Wisconsin native Josh Thompson just released his newest album, 'Turn It Up,' on April 1. He's been on the road with Justin Moore, and recently appeared with Moore and Randy Houser in St. Louis. Thompson has also headlined the Quincy Firefighters Local 63 Country Music Concert in the past.

Thompson's hit singles include 'Cold Beer With Your Name On It,' 'Won't Be Lonely Long,' 'Beer on the Table,' 'Way Out Here' and 'Comin' Around.' He is also a successful songwriter, having written for artists like Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley and Gary Allan.
