Congrats to River Roast in Chicago for being named one of the 10 best outdoor dining restaurants in the US according to Gayot. Rover Roast comes in at 9th on the list behind restaurants in places like Hawaii, Las Vegas, Miami, Malibu, and New York. River Roast is one of the unique restaurants in the heart of downtown Chicago on the Chicago River. Gayot had this to say about why River Roast made this list...
"Chef Tony Mantuano (Spiaggia, Terzo Piano) is behind River Roast, which offers American fare with tableside service. Outdoor riverside seating allows guests to savor summer days and river views; indoors, one can watch the crew at work through the open kitchen and see into the wood-burning oven."

I used to sail by River Roast dozens of times each week when I was a tour guide for Wendella Boats in Chicago, and River Roast was always one of the restaurants I would highly recommend to people. The views of the river and the skyscrapers are worth the price of the meal, and if you add on top of that a beautifully handcrafted menu, it is a perfect outdoor dining spot in The Second City.
