Hannibal Jaycees 2018 Haunted House Opens Next Month

Halloween is my favorite time of year. There's no better season. Fall is upon us, we're all relishing in our collective desire to be scared. There's free candy, we're all watching scary movies, picking out costumes. And of course... all the houses suddenly become haunted. The one I look forward to every year is the Hannibal Jaycees Haunted House, which is kicking off with a costume part on September 29th!

For 2018, it looks like they're bringing back the "Warehouse of Nightmares" design, which was dynamite last year. It just crawled right inside your brain and shook you to your core. The bash on the 29th will feature a soft opening of the Haunted house for you to tour and test out, the band American Standard will be playing all night long, there'll be food, drinks, and a Zombie Run. Follow the Facebook event page for more info and to stay up to date. Admission to the party is just $5 for just the Bash, but $10 if you want access to everything.

As for the regular operating hours of the Haunted House, they haven't set prices yet, not that I can find anyway, but you can probably expect them to be inline with last year's costs at $10 per person. Children five and under are not permitted and children 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Back for another is the Zombie Paintball, so you can live out your fantasy of being in The Walking Dead, talking out walkers one by one to protect your crew. Entrance to tour the haunted house AND the zombie paintball range is just $15 for the combo pack, or you can buy a $50 season pass to go all weekend every weekend, but that does NOT include the zombie paintball.

The Hannibal Jaycees Haunted House at 320 South Third Street opens on October 5th, and will run every Friday and Saturday through the 27th, and will be open 7:30 to midnight each night. You can follow them on Facebook for updates.
